Cooking ingredients

  • 1kg meat (mutton, beef or chicken)
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Half cup butter/oil
  • 1 packet Milan tikka boti masala

Cooking instructions

Option 1: Using a Barbecue grill

  • Sew the marinated meat onto skewers. Place on very low heat of coal/gas fire. Grill lightly on all sides.
  • Lightly brush meat with butter/oil and rotate the skewers until meat is tender.
  • Once cooked, remove the skewers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

Option 2: Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Baste the chicken skewers with a little oil using a pastry brush.
  • Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
  • Flip the skewers halfway through baking.
  • Grill until the meat is cooked through and slightly charred.

Serving suggestions:

  • Garnish the tikka boti with few lemon wedges and sliced onions to add a burst of freshness and vibrant colour.
